In the afternoon the trial proceeded. The main paints in the prosecution os above noted were not varied by any subsequent testimony on tbot'sidc. ‘ We did not hoar in detail the whole of fjeace, having been called away from the Court Home. We learned howover from the notes of a reporter present daring the examination, that the main points attempted to be mode in defence were to show that Parkinson aggravated Porter and blackguarded him: that both of them were monk, and that Parkinson was quite noisy and ox4l he menooed Porter os if to strike him from behind. Testimony was pro duced to show that Porter did not kick Parkin son with a malicious intent.
