There arealso four portable scales, a scale for weighing flour, and a platform wale designed for the use of the ladies especially. At one end is Buchanan, and at the other Fremont. In the centre are ,Fillmore and Johnston; the former looking at Buchanan and the latter at Fremont A single vote thrown upon the head of either declines the side receiving it. The firm have also Speeltoone of door-looks and knobs, coke mills, umbrella and fire staude. 'This exhibition will attract crowds: Agricultural Implements, of course, cbmpre bend a large liet , of the articles now on exhibi tion at the State Pair; and amongst these, Plows are, perhaps, the leading item. Messrs. J. A. Speer & Co., have a fine lot on exhibition,among Which we notice an Improved Steel Mould board; this is a metal Plow, covered with Merl, which gives it-tbo solidity of a motel, with all the qual ities of .a steerpliw; though sold mach cheaper. Every pattern of this firm has been made within two years, and a number - of them within two months—all well tried and proved. They bid fair to build up a large trade, and to. become popular in their lino of buslaces. We admire enterprise in every shape, and we advise farm ers and all others interested not to neglect to see these plows.
