The Delegation from Kansas was received with tremendous cheering in the Convention this morning. Nineteen of the Pennsylvania delegation have resolved to vote for Judge McLean, of Ohio— the balance.for JOILII C. Fampirr. The Convention was called to order about noon to-day. The HOD. Bomar EMIINT, of New York, was chosen temporary Chairman. The Convention appointed a Committee of one from each State on Credentials. Mr. Wilmot offered a resolution for the ap pointment of a Committee of one from each State to report a Platform, and no balloting to be had until the Platform was adopted. Agreed to, and Committee appointed. The eesalons were ordered to bo opened with Mr! , A Committee on Permanent Organisation wee appointed.
