The memorandum of the proposed lease of the Pittsburgh and thenbermille Railroad was, on motion of. Mr. Miller, taken up. The Previdont read the memorandum, after which Mr. Miller moved to•amend the second section so RS to Wog the terminus of the road opposite the mouth of the Pennsylvsnia Canal, near the mouth of Try street, instead of opposite the Clinton Rolling provided .in the memorandum. The amendment was adapted. Mr. Miller moved to amend the seventh section of the memorandum by striking out the words "and alio groat - the privilege of laying a tempo rary track from the foot of Liberty street to low water mark, at or near the Point, to be used oa th the - emit:motion through Grant's Rill Is com. plated and ready for nse." While playing about the fire-place the girl's clothes caught and before the neighbors could arrive, she was so badly burned that abe died within fifteen minutes. CATIPM.
