R. R. was standing on the, track about one mile south of Alliance, the hands being 'engaged in lading the cars with wood, when the boiler of the locomo , tire—the “Portage"—exploded. A similar complaint was entered against him for forging the names of the same firm to a check on the Citizens' Deposit Bank for twenty dollars.
