Trio of Tramps Yesterday Bent to the County Jail. Sunday niorninu, a telephone mex snge was received at police headquar teis from Chief Robllng to send the patrol w agon over to West Lackawan na avenue, to arrest a party of tramps. Sergeant Delter took the wagon over and then the chief, Detective Molr and Patrolmen Walsh and Low ry accompanied him back, together with three very unkempt and bedrag gled specimens of the genus "hobo." The latter had been making their headquarters In that vicinity for som time nnd acting In a drunken and dis orderly manner and had proved a gen eral nuisance. They were given a hearing In police court by Mayor Molr yesterday morn ing and gave their names as Thomas Murphy, William White and Michael Qogglns. They were sentenced to cith er pay a $20 fine or go to Jail for three; months. They could nut do wio former and accordingly all three wero committed to the county Jail. ANTHONY MOHAN INJURED. He Was Run Into by Cars In Pino Brook Mines. Anthony Moran, of New street, wns tnken to the Lackawanna hospital, with his right arm In a badly Injured condition, about 3.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mnran Is employed as a driver In the Pino Drook mines, and I: wns while he was at work that th nccldent occurred, which resulted In his Injury. A train of four mine cars collided with htm and he was dragged about fifteen yards before he was freed. He was then taken to the Lackawanna hospital, where It was seen that his right arm was broken.
