When the result of the fourth ballot was announced Mr. Williams, chair man of the select council, moved that they proceed to elect a member of tho board of revision and appeal. Com mon Councilman Morris V. Morris and E. J. Coleman weie nominated, and the former was elected. There seems to be some question about the right of councils to elect a member of the board of revision at a Joint convention. The act of the leg islature specifies a Joint session. There was a good deal of seiuabbllng as to when tho Joint convention should adjourn to, and it was finally decided to adjourn to meet at tho call of the president, Luther Keller. BOTH BRANCHES MET. Charles Leo Wilcox, of Wllkos-Rnrre, died at Fortress Moirroe AVodnesday. where ho was stationed as u member of Hnttery H, ot the Third nrtlllery. Uefore enlisting in the artillery list August, Wilcox was employed as n printer. He is u son of M. L. Wilcox, who is now employed In the Dl'ksou machine shops in this city. Death was due to typhoid fever. The remains ni rived in Wilkes Harre yestetday and were taken to the Wil cox home ut 1103 South street. The funeral will bo held at 11 o'clock t id.ty.
