The hearing brought out the facts that John Yursuskl, John Woluchlnk and others comprised an Important church committee, and after attend ing to the church duties In the morn ing, had been visiting several hotels during the afternoon and evening. The party finally rounded up In McLaugh lin's place of business, and upon be 1ns rofjsed drinks became somewhat boisterous. Otto Avery, employed as a driver of the delivery wagon of Reese's cash store of South' Main avenue, narrowly ercaped serious Injury yesterday morn ing. Mr. Reese recently purchased a t'"am of horses and as Mr, Avery was in the act of tying the team In front of tho store, a passing car disturbed them. Tho horses dashed off, drag ging the driver from his feet nnd eventually kicking him loose. He was severely bruised ns a consequence of his rough usage and was later taken to his residence nt 333 North Main ave nue, where he was attended by Dr. B. G. Beckwlth. His injuries are not serious. The funeral of Evan Bebb, tho Traction company car dispatcher, who died at tho Moses Taylor hospital Sunday night, will take placo at 2 o'clock this afternoon from No. 1121 Rock street, West Side. The an nouncement or the death In yesterday's Tribune was a great surprise to the many friends of the deceased. The Traction company employes, with whom Mr. Bebb was a favorite, were eloquent In their expression of regret.
