Tho great council of Pennsylvania, Improved Or der of Red Men, met In regular annu al session at tho opera, house, this morning. Chief Hurgess Walters, In a neat speech, extended the freedom of the town to the visitors, after which the council settled down to business. Seventy-six past sachems were admit ted to membership lr. the great council. Roll rail disclosed the presence of 218 delegates from the 30S tribes through out the state. The great chiefs made their reports nnd all were regularly adopted. A vote by tribes increases the appropriation to the great sachem from $000 to $1,000 per year.
