The Editor of the Tribune:
smt I have had it in contemplation for
some time, to write and tell you of the pleasure I
get from the weekly perusal of the proceedings of
.the Farmers' club; first. I will tell you how re
cently 1 became aware of its existence. About the
Ist of September. 1853, 1 noticed an advertisement,
and a cut of the Tribune Strawberries, and immedi
ately subscribed for the Weekly Tribune, in which I
found the proceedings of your Club. I have read
them constantly. until they hare become to me a
necessity, and I look for Monday as red letter day
