Professor Wise's ballooH, io which
he and Mr. Donaldson, with others, are
to make the attempt to cross the Atlan
tic ocean, is steadily approaching com
pletion. Besides the large, principal
balloon, there will be two small balloons,
to be used is feeders, all oi which are
to be oonstruotcd of muslin, varnished.
The difficulty will be to secure a sale as
cension, after which it is claimed no
trouble will be encountered "in the
machinery," on the Toyage. The grand
start is to be made on the 15th of
,ugust, when we will be better able to
make a statement on all these points than
we now are, for the enlightment of the

Hacks leave the Exchange Hotel in
Reynoldville every Tuesday, Thursday and
Saturday on the ai rival of the Droonville
stage, and return the same day. These
hacks connect at Brockwayville with the
Ridgway stages, making eonneotion with
trains on the P. & E. Road, both east and
west. Every attention to the comfort ot
patrons of this line will be given, and a
liberal patronage solicited.
