see Illinois, Southern Iowa, and Mis
souri, and, by a slight divergence, can
see Nebraska also.

ber the Burlington Route, for its towns
"high-gleaming from afar" its tree
fringed streams its rough blulfs and
quarries its corn-oceans stretcning
over tho prarics further than the eye
can reaoh.
