AGRICULTURAL COLLEGR.—The Committee of the State Agricultural Society, to examine the various sites for the location of the Agricultural College, arrived in this city on Monday eventeg. They left Harrisburg on Monday of last week, and have visited the farms offered by Gen. Irvin, of Centre county, and Judge Miles, of "File. minty. Yesterday morning, they started at an early hour to inspect the farm of Cal. 'George A. Bayard, up the Monongahela river, about fourteen miles from the city. We believe he Is willing to sell it, for this purpose, upon reasonable terms. Oa their return, they will proceed to Altoona, near which a farm cf two hundred acres, owned by a Mr. Baker, has been offered to the Society.
