TUESDAY MORNING ESCAPE OF PIPTSBIIROHEHS FROIS THE LOOTS- ViLLE Jano--On Thursday last three Pitts burghers, named Samuel Bryant, alias Luke O'Brien, James. Jones and B. M. Gorman, made their escape from the Louisville jail. They were lodged in the south-western corner of the print', in the same room - where Matt. Ward, when tt prisoner, spent several months. This looks outthrough one crevice, or windoW, immediate ly upon the roof of the office entrance. The eseav was effected by a largo stone, about four feet an length and two feet high, being sawed out and turned, so as to admit the passage of the bodies of those ieearcerated. A crow-bar, chisel, and saw had evidently been used with great mitcituaso by the scamps. Having reesped from the oell, they found themselves on th 4 roof, then climbed up a ladder, formed oea wiudow.frsme, to the top of the walrelrround lug the jilt, tip which they walked, and de scended to the ground and to freedom outside. Two others confined with them also made their escape at the same time. The Jailor offers a reward of .$1?•00 for their arrest.
