We know ot uotbins more tiPsirable in the way of per sonal COMPRI:11AI and comfortthan a - gool bead of hair, and any process by which this crowning ornament. of the outer man can be preserved, or recovered when lout, without, In the latter cm., a resort to Wigs, 'loupes and Scratches, de serves to be balled and embraced with gratitude by all of either sex, who are unlucky a nough.to need Its bt.nellt. We took 'occasion the other day to notice this valuable compound in the above terms, and now repuidish what wee then said, to show again our favorable opinion of it. The foregoing is Ataken from the Petersbarg (Virginia) Intelligence?, and refers to an article which has for a time been advertised In our columns. We must confess that we have been somewhat eCeptical as to the remarkable effects attributed to this famous "Rah Restorer." But our in credulity has been greatly shaken wlthrns day or two by seeing a couple of certificates of well-known and perfectly credible citilens of the neighboring town of l'reston--one of them the Captain of a New London whaling ship—to the effect that, in each of these cases, a two or three mouths' use of the "Restorer" had actually brought out a new and vigorous growth of heir upon the bead where it was before bald—the baldness being, in one case, of more than twenty years standing. We do not suppose it 1s by any Means cer tain that, because the application has been thus successful in one case, or two, or a dozen, it in therefore certain to prove equally enccessbil in all. But with such head4troniz. evidence as the foregoing, very few baldheade, we suspect, would willingly forego a fair trial of the "Restorer." KENNEDY, of Roxbury, has discovered lu'oua of our commoupcuture weeds a remedy that cures EVERY KIND OF HUMOR, From the worst Scrofula down to a common pimple: Ile has tried it in over 1100 cas es, and never failed except in two cases, (both thunder humor). He. has now in his posseasion over two hundred chtifteates of its virtue, all within twenty miles of Boston. Two bottles are warranted to cure a Musing sore mouth. One to three bottles will cure the worst kind of Pimples on the face. Two to three bottles will clear the system of-Biles. Two bottles are warranted to cure the worst Canker in the Month and Stomach. Three to five bottles are warranted to cure the worst ease of Erysipelas. One to two bottles are warranted to cure all Humor in the Eyes. Two bottles are warranted to cure Running of the h'are and Blotches among the Hair. Four to six bottles are warranted to cure Corrupt and Running Ulcers. One bottle will cure Scaly Eruption of the Skin. Two to three bottles axe warranted to cure the Worst case of Ringworm. Two to threw bottles are warranted to core the most des.: perste case of Rheumatism. Three to four bottles are warranted to cure the Salt Rheum. Five to eight bottles will cure the worst case of Scrofula. A benefit is always experienced from the first bottle, and a perfect cure is warranted when the above quantity is taken. Reader, I peddled over a thousand bottles of this in the vicinity of Boston. I know the effect of it in every case So mire as water will extinguish fire. so sure will this core humor. I never gold a bottle of It but that sold another; after a trial, it always epeaks for itself. There are two things about this herb that appear to me surprising: first, that it grows in our pastures, in some places quite plenti ful, and yet its valve has never been known until I discov ered it in 18-16—second, that It should cure all kinds of humor. In order to give some idea of the sudden rise and great popularity of the discovery, I,wiil slat*, that In April,lBs3, I peddled it and sold about six bottles per day—in April, 1854, I sold over one thousand bottles per day of, it. Some o! the wholesale druggist& who hive been in busi ness twenty and thirty years, say that nothing in the annals of patent medicines was ever like it. There is a universal realm of it from all quarters. In my own practice I always kept it strictly for humors, but since its introduction as a general family medicine, great and wonderful virtues have been found in it that I never suspected. Several cases of epileptic fitti—a disease which was always considered incurable—have been cured by a few bottles. 0, what a mercy if it will prove effectual in all cases of that awful malady; there are but few who have seenmore of it than I has. I know of several cases of Dropsy, all of them aged peo ple, • nred by it. For the various diseases of the lie er,Sick Headache, Dyspepsia, Asthma, Fever and Ague, Pain in the Side, Diseases of the Spine, and particularly in Diseases of the Kidneys, to., the discovery has done more good than any medicine ever known. No change of diet ever necessary. Eat the best you get, and enough of it. Directions for Via. —Adults, one table spoonful per day. Children over ten years, dessert spoonful.
