William B. M'Clure, president judge; Hon. Ga bilel.AdaMe and Hon. William Boggs, associate judges. The June term of the Coles of Quarter Ses sions and Oyer and Terminer commenced yester day morning. After the opening of court, and the organize ilea of the grand jury, Judge M'Clitro_delivered the usual charge to that body. The charge was quite short, and contained not much worthy of note. He administered a caustic reproof to a set of loafers wed lounge around the court house trying to pry out the business of the grand jury, by engaging jurymen in Conversation, and said that if any pooh would interfere Kith the present grand jury he hoped they would receive a " re buke that would make them stagger." The judge also alluded briefly to the new liquor law, enyiug that it was .a good statute but hardly strong enough in its provisions. Instead of be ing ahead of public sentiment, it was hardly up to it.. He then took the ward constables to task for their dereliction in returning liquor houses, telling • them they too often disregarded their solemn' oaths by neglecting their duty in this respect. He said that, persons who permit the grog-shop influence to cleat constables will bow to that influence; but let the people put in oMce those who fear God and the law can be en• foroed beautifully. If they do not, let them suf fer. Seven-tenths or nino-tenths of the oases tried in this court are superinduced or brought about by the use of ardent spirits. Here, then, is nine-tenths of the timo of this court occupied, nine-tenths more taxes drawn from you, and nine-tentbe more of you brought from your business to try cases which you have it in your power to exterminate. But you undergo the annoyance, keep a jail and penitentiary full and do not seem to care about the esti. You, gen tlemen, personally attend to your business, and drink no grog, but you have all a thundering grog bill to pay for others. His Honor gave the usual instructions to the jury, and they retired to prepare bills. Wool Again Very little reliable information can be given relative to the wool market in Toledo. A few firma in town intend to buy as aeon as the new clip teglns to come in, but they make no offers which we can quote as anything like a mar ket prieo. One thing is quite certain, there is not the ex citement and inquiry this year that prevailed among buy ers and sellers lost year. We know of wool-growers who so'd their ctip last year a month or six weeks before shear ing time, at what they supposed to be the highest pries it would attain during the season, and when they brought it foto market, others who had not contracted ahead were getting from 4to tic more. some held off too late. Wool. like most other articles of traffic, should be sold when priceaare fair, rather than run the risk of getting mere. The only prices which we are able to obtain, range from 20 to 33c, according to grade and quality. Actual sales are the only reliable and governing beats for quotations.—Ean dusky Register, Ist. In answer to many inquiries , in relation to the woe I market, we would IK tato it is remarkably dull, not only hero, but in the east. The quotations here nod there are given with a very wide margin, say 25 to 42 , in fact there in not regularity enough to make a quotation. About the 10th of June, the new clip will begin to come in, but bow that will Milct the market it Is impossible to say nt I resent. —Rochester Adeerfiser, 30th. We took occasion the other day to 1.1014.4 this valuable compound in the above terms, and now repuldisb what was then maid, to show ,gain our favorable opinion of it. The foregoing is taken from the Petersburg (Virginia) infelligincer, and refers to an article which has for a time been advertised in our columns. We must confess that we have been somewhat sceptical as to the remarkable effects attributed to this famous "Hair Restorer." But our in. credulity has been greatly shaken within a day or two by seeing a couple of certificates of well-known and perfectly credible citizens of the neighboring town of Preston—one of them the Captain of a New London whaling ship—to the effect that, In each of these Cacti, a two or three months' use of the "Restorer" had actually brought oat a now and Niger°. growth of hair upon the head where it was before bald—the baldnusa being, In one case, of more than twenty years standing,. We do not suppose it is by any means cer tain that, because the application has been thus successful In one cave, or two, or a dozen, it is therefore certain to prose equally successful In all. Brat with such Itead-strone evidence as the foregoing, very few bald beads, we suspect, would willingly forego a fair trial of the " Restorer." I never sold a bottle of it hut that mild another.; after a trial, it always speaks for itself. There are two things about this herb that appear to me surprising: first, that it grows In our pastures, in some places quite plenti ful, and yet its value bee never been known nntll I dissev er.] it in 11346—second, that it should cure all kinds of humor. In order to give soma, idea of the sudden rise and great popularity of the discovery, Twill mate that in April, 1863, I peddled it and sold about six bottles per day—in April, laz,s, I sold over one thousand bottles per day of it.
