A FEW days since, 1 published an advertisement of my Uauoceg Pianos, in which an extract from a letter from Prof. U Rohbock, of this city, addresrel to Messrs. This morning I observed in several of the daily pnjvrs a'* Notie signed by Prof. R, in which he states that 1 was anaatboriz:>d t#roake use of it, omi that it was incorrectly stated aod applied. In reply—l presumed that 1! he had written the letter, he, of course, meant what was therein contained, and con sequently required no authority front' him in make the same public. As regard the assertion as to its incorrect ness, l have the letter in my possession, and it speaks for itself, word for word os I hare published. Messrs Baum gartr-n 4 Heins nro not dependant upon Mr. Robbock for endorsement—their Pianos wore known, appreciated and received the hlgh-Rt romtnendntions from the first artists, long before Prof. Ik caw lit to pass an opinion upon them. My reason for publishing tho extract was in the fact that he was well known in the city, and not be ause his recom mendation was necessary to establish .tbo merit of the llanos. In conclusion, I mny add that they stand on their own merit, and are endorsed by such men a* List, Thniberg, and others, solely on account of their merit. m h2d CHARLOTTE PLUME. NOTICE. There is no kiud of fruit tree, the top of whioh can bo so sorely and quickly renovated as the peach tree. \ , A return jast published, shows that tho total quantity of guano imported into Great Bri tain in the year 1851, amounted to 135,111 tons, againßt 123,166 tons in 1853, and 125,879 in 1852.
