RICHARD DONCASTER, on the , premises. Poe further particulars, enquire of TIIOS. AIELLON Esq., Pittsburgh oct2S•.Stndkw Prrrsatraon, June 12, 1849. Mr. T. E. Hibbert—Dear Sir: In reply to your request to have my opinion relative to the quality of your Wri ting Fluid, I may state that I have used it in my Institute of Accountants for nearly a year; where I use none but the best of Inks. It becomes a perfect black soon after being written with, and Is suitable for any kind of pen, bus more particularly the metallic pen, which does not clog with it as with common Ink. It writes well upon any kind of paper, and on account of its fluid property writes better on parchment than any of the common inks. I perceive what you have made recently is dark er in color when first written with. This is s decided improvement, particularly for book-keepers, who have frequently to write with candle light. lour Red Ink is decidedly the best of that kind of comestic manufacture that I have tried ;--it will be found on trial in every rea pert equal to Arnold's best English manufacture. Your Machine Copy Ink leaves a good impresston, mud will be found worthy of a trial; but I cannot myself speak sc confidedtly of its pro l. ierties as the others, not having had the same experience to the use of it. . Very respectfully yours, P. DUFF, Principal of institute of Accts., Pittsburgh. For sale by B. A. Fahnestock & Co., Pittsburgh ; H. P. Schwartz, Allegheny ; and by the manufacturer, I'.
