The Fatal Consequence. —The bills of mortality which wo daily sec recorded, and the vast number that die of and the very many of our friends and acquaintances who are seriously and dangerously afflicted, and must ere long pay the debt of Nature, is alone sufficient evidence that no time should be lost in gelling clear of the very first evil seed of disease as soon as possible, before it takes root and destroys life. Occular demonstrations are daily visib’e to the public, that « DR. DUN CAN’S EXPECTORNT REMEDY” is the only safe and effectual Medicine that will completely eradicate the first symptoms of this fatal Disease. Her Life has been Spared , by the use of Dr Dun • tan** Expectorant Remedy. Consumption Arrested 1 Mrs. Margaret Clemons, of Columbus, Ohio, has oeen suffering with a t( DISEASE OF THE LUNGS' for the last three years. She at length became so weak and debilitated that she could not leave her oed. Her husband procured all the different medi{ cine? sot forth to cure Consumption; but unfortu nately there was none of them'affurded her any de cided relief. At last, seeing a notice in the “Ohio Statesman,” of a cure tbit was performed upon a young lady similarly affected, which gave hopes ofa cure, your expectorant Remedy was sent for, of your agent Mr. Mattoon, and used according to the direc tions. The good effects were visibU after using the Medicine one week. Her Coughing subsided, and the Choaking by phlegm, which she distressingly ex perienced; and after using the Expectorant t) weeks her strength returned to its natural vigor, and now enjoys perfeci health. I write you these lines in sincere gritification of the speedy cure your medi cine performed upon my sister. Yours, truly, PHJLIP HENDERSON. Columbus, Ohio. Sept. 10, 1845. The above named medicine for sale by William Jackson, 89 Liberty street, head ol Wood st., Pitts, burgh, Pa. febll Important, Warning to those who neglect a Cold. — It is evident, and decided by the most experienced physicians, that Consumption is mostly encouraged by neglect of a Cold at the first attacK. How many persons are there that put off from time to time pro curing a suitable medicine, until the disease begins to assume a serious character, when in all prola bility they arc past the power of medical aid. May these lines prove a warning to those afflicted with the first symptoms of Consumption, that ihcy may immediately use “ Dr. Duncan’s Expectorant ReueW,” which is expressly for the diseases of the respiratory system. It is certain to remove a Cough in a few day.e, at the same time relieving tbo pain in the side and breast, and arresting the progress of : this fatal ! The “ Expecto rant Remedy” has a decided advantage over ail other preparations. |t is entirely free from Opium, and all other violent Narcotics. It regulates the system, and gives strength to the x and nervous. For sale by W*. When your Vegetable Lithontnptic Mixture was recom mended I concluded, that 1 would try once more, and by so doing found itsucccssfel in curing. After using two large and one small bottle she believed herself entirely cured.
