That “they have abandoned some time since, the exclusive agency system,” and that we have right to claim “exclusive privileges with their teas.” I never pretended to sell the teas of this spurious concern. I have been selling the teas of the New York Pekin Tea Company for the last two years, as the public are aware, and have been to New York four times in that time, and never heard of this new concern until lately but as wool dealers. The tea business or M’Callmont &l Bond is about eight months old, and their assumption of the Pe kin Tea Company»s name is because a name is open for any man or firm to assume; but the fact intended to imply they have any connection with the so called and well known Pekin Tea Co. of New York, is entirely false, theyhaving been de nied even an agency in Philadelphia, for the New York Company, that Company having refused'even l thus far to confide in themy I know not what kind of wool they keep, nor what kind ofteas; I am onlycertain thattfeey keep or obtain none of-the Pekin Tea Company’s of New York. LKHOLDER. Any person card will see the gross deception they practice on the public, and to the injury of my business. M’Callmont Bend are wool dealers in Philadelphia, and have sent an agent out here to pull woofoverthe eyes of some of our good citizens. Look obi for theblack theep . .
