In most articles,' there has b_een no change in price. Sales hive been prineipally confined to the city and vicinity. Very little pioduce has been brought to market. MONEY—There is. ti large demand for Western Currency, Ohio and Indians bills, in consequence of the Pork packing season being at hand. The brokers are purchasing currency at Ij per cent. discount, and selling at I per cent. A dangerous counterfeit on the city Bank of Hex Haven, has made its appearance throughout the country. The plate is genuine; but it has got into wrong hands. The notes ate dated June 1,1847, and signed by Wm. Johnson, Cashier.
