In making up our weekly review of the market , we find that there is a slight change in the, price of a great many articles; but in leading articles prices are much the same as last week. Produce of all kinds appears to be very scarce, and in great demand. We may . specify particulakly Dried Fruits, Butter, Lan], Potatoes, Cheese, Seeds, &c.— The market is still well supplied with all kinds of Pittsburgh' manufactures, with the exception of Window Glass. The demand for this article is in. creasing, and prices have an upward tendency.— Our merchants are complaining a good deal of the difficulty in getting goods from the East, since the breach in the canal. Let them build a Railroad, and this hitherto annual complaint will be at an end. In money matters we have nothing new to re p Money is plenty, and we hear no one com plaining but the Brokers. Good paper is discount ed at the Banks without any difficulty. We hear of no new counterfeits being ih — circulation since those last noticed. ASHES—There is a great deal of inquiry after Ashes of all kinds. The constant and increasing dema•td foe glass has had the effect of causing a corresponding advance in Pots and Scorching& We reput sales active ai the tollowing-i4tes: Scorching! Potash.
