CHRISTIE'S GALVANIC RINGS A,ND MAG NETIC FLUID. THIS reinarkable invention, which, has received the universal approbation of the medical profes sion istGreat Britain, comprises an entirely new ap plication ofGalvanisin, as a remedial agent, by meant. of which the ordinary. Galvanic ilao.ries, Electric mid 'lldagnetic Machines, &c., are entirely dispensed with, and the mysterious power-of Galvanism applied withotit any of the objections which are inseparable from the general mode now id use. The strong (los es, and irregular intervals, in which Galvanism ap plied by the Machines, has been pronounced, after a fair and impartial trial, to be decidedly infamous, and it was to remedy this radical defeat that this new ap plication Wan projected, which, after unceasing toil, and perseverance, his bemi brought to its present state of perfection. The Galvanic Rings answer all thopurposes of the most expensive Machines, and in many other respects are more safe and certain in accomplishing the desired effect. . The Galvanic Rings media connection with the Magnetic .Fluid, are confidently recommended in all disorders, which arisefrom an enfeebled and unhealthy state of Ito nervous or vital system, and these com plaintscire among ,the most painful and universal to which we are subject. They arise, without exception, from one simple cause—a derangement of the Nerv ous System-rand it was in these cases that other 'remedies' having so often failed, a new agent was ' greatly needed, which it is confidently believed, has been found in the proper and judicious application of Galvanism. The ,Galvanic Rings have been used with entire iitecesi in all cases of gIIEIMATISM, acute or chronic, applying to the head, face or limbs, Gout, Tic-Bolo reuii Toothache, Bronchitis, Vertigo, Nervous Sick headache, Indigestion, Paralysil, Palsy, Epilepsy, Fits, Cramp, Palpitations of „the Heart, Apoplexy, Stiffness of Joints, Spinal. Com Plaints, Lumbago, Neuralgia, Nervous Tremors,Dizziness of the Head, pain in the Chest and Side, General Debility, Deficien cy of Ner CO= and Physical Energy, and all NERV OUS DISORDERS. In cases ofeonfirmed Dyspepsia, which is simply a nervous derangement of the diges tive organs, they tiave been found equally sgccessful. Their extraordinary effects upon the system must be witnessed to be believed, and as a certain preventive for the preceding complanitstheY are equally recent mendod. The Rings are of different prices, being made «fall sizes, and of various ornamental patterns, and can be worn by the most delicate female without the slightest inconvenience. In fact, the sensation is rather agreeable than otherwise. The Galvanic Belts, Bracelets, Bands, Garters, Diecklaies, &c. In some eases of e very severe character, and of long standing, the power as applied by the Galvanic Rings is not sufficientto arrest the progress of disease and ultimately, restore health. The improved tench fie:AC(3%in the Galvanic Bolts, 13raCelets &c., entire ly remedies this objection; any degree Of power that is requited can readily be obtained, and no complaint which' the mysterious agent of Galvanism can effect will fail to be permanently relieimd. These articles' are adapted to the Waists, arms, wrists, limbs, ancles, or any part of the body, with perfect convenience. The Galvanic Necklaces are used with greater bent.- fit in eases of 'Bronchitis or affections: of the throat generally; also iii.. eases of Nervous Deafness; and with almost uniforin success,ai a Preventive for Apo plexy, Epileptic Fits, and similar complaints. - • Christie's Magnetic Fluid is used in. connection with the"Galvtinic Rings and all their modifications. This composition has been pronounced by the French Chemists to be one ofthe most extraordinary discoveries or modern science. John Smith, Birming, hant .THE WILSON PILLS, - as a reedy peculiarly. • remedy for headaches and dyspeptic affections, are prettp generally known and esteemed in this community; and the , proprietor,- so often as he has occasion to write or speak or Omni - can - scarcely re frain from 'an expression of his grateful acknowledg ruentuto his friends for their patronage and kindness o him. His feelings'are the warmer from observing he "beginning and the ending"—thrown almost:in juxtaposition—of so many nostrumsand kindred pre parations equally loud in their pretensions, and much more industriously ,presented to the public; while his preparation noiselessly advances, even to remote places, soothing and comforting the afflicted, and permanently grafting itself upon the affections of new friends, thus continually widening the circle of its usefulness. Although well satisfied that his medicine has, as it were, a principle of perpetuity in it, yet he is' obliged to his frientls for the most:sub stantial evidence of the fact. In its natural history, if you please, the Wilson Pill differs ;from most other preparations in not being originally made for sale, or with a view to pecuniary profit; while as every body knows; the greatest tyro (as a general thing) no sooner begins to dabble in drugs Wart, he casts about for some cheap -prepara tion, or must 'get up,' as the phrase is, something— anything that will sell. Often he attempts it under an assumed or fictitious name, as though conscious his own Wore insufficient to sell itr The difference then between the Wilson Pill and the preparations a have just indicated, would appear to be this: The consciousness of the value - of my pill originated the idea of:putting them onsale for money, and at I price. The consciousness of the value of money originates in Most instances the many preparations I have alluded to; and the price most likely 'to take' is always first carefully considered, and the pill or other preparalion made anti graduated to suit it. The one is a eiscovray, and comes from the great Arcane of Universal Nature; the other a trickur invent-40n, and comes from a not very popular quality of Ism vrov.u. Nature. Reader! the difference here is great. In one instance the value attached to them - Lt., is the starting point; in the other, the.' ! raortas. But it is not probable that some of the Many prepara tions having even such paternity were accigentally good, but that possibly by this procesS of "getting up' , as they call it, by puffing and blnking, as we clean wheat, they have been "got up...t00 high be fore their specific gravity had been carefully aster-: tained, and have blown off never tolibe heard of , with other chaff—some lighter, some heavier. Whatever may be the rationale, I Must repeat that I am most prothundly thankful to any friends for, their discrimination in not consigning rtyydiscovesy to, that compenduous category of "inventions that not answer"—of "dicks that won't wita..", The Wilson Pi}lsere useful as a GthERAL remedy; and may be kept and taken, in proper doses, in fant, ilies,as a preventative Of general ill health, or die-' ease of whatevernad,e, by any member of the fana-: ily, without any fear of the. conseqnences of expa: sure in the ordinary pursuits of business. til - They may always be had in any. quantity of the, proprietor, in Penn street, below Marbury, and of the, principal Druggists of this city and Allegheny. jy2.2-(187.w7m .Dissokut.ion of Partmerst4p. In 'Ai same period, upwards of 200,000 copies of the "Family Doctor" have been ordered by agents in every section of the country. These facts must show, conclusively, that Dr. Clickenees Sugar Coat ed Pills, besides being the very best medicinein the world, arc held in the bighestestimatio n by the public. We might extend this publication to an indefin ite length, if we deemed it expedient to publish all taraiinonials we have received, not only from agents but inclivideals and families, who have experienced the berificial effects of Clickenees Sugar Coated Pills, but we deem it unnecessary. The most in con te stible evidence of their unprecedented success, are the numberless Imitations and Counterfeits which have alreadyappeared, notwithstanding the brief pe riod they have been before the public. Even some of our staunchest pill makers have had the audacity to imitate the Capsule of. Sugar, in order to disguise the ingredients of their vile compounds, and palm them off for the “real Simon - pure." Such paltry shifts cannot last long without exposing their hideous deformity.
