A TVG WANTED AT THE LAZARETTO.I:Here bas been constant complaint from shipmasters and the merchants of the unnecessary detention of vessels at the Lazaretto by Cho Port Physi cian. This evil the Board of Health propose to abolish by purchasing a steam tug for the nee of this oflicial. The visiting ground (outside chan nel) is remote from the Lazaretto some two miles and a half, and cannot be reached by a six-oared barge in lees than an hour and a half or two hours, when the wind and tide is against them. During that time a number of vessels BM:Emu late, which are compelled to cast anchor and await a visit by the slow mode now in use. In this way one, two or more hours are absorbed thereby, and vessels lose a tide and very fre— qnently an entire day. The object in procuring a tug is that she may proceed down the river to the vicinity of Chester, board and visit vessels, whilst under weigh (without coming to anchor) and then proceed to visit others, in turn,- and without detention. • Ronuxuans,—The residence of Mr. Uharles Blumendale, No. 912 North Broad street, was en tered last evening, about 63f; o f clock, while the family were at tea. Old Stocks of dear-b9ught goods are reduced to "ONE-HALF THEIR FORMER PRICER," and are still "TOO DEAR BY RALF." The "BEE-HIVE" does not require to REDUCE prices—their Stock, ALL NEW—BOUGHT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MARKET—and BOLD AT FAIR PROFlTS—outranks the supposititious bargains fulsomely promised by "GRilgD SALES" and "IMPORTANT NOTICES." The "BEE-HIVE" is now offering bona fide bargains in all their departments—no catch- penny trifles to mislead—but a pure and un- equivocal moderation in prices—in other words, "FAIR VALUE FOR MONEY" will be tonnd to pervade all the stock J.
