Tbe Pine Tree Well, on south side of Church run, below the Eagle, on tbe land of John Marshall, bas just been sunk through tbe third sand, bas been tubed, and is be ing tested with favorable indications Tbe Blue Flag Well, on the north tide ol Church run, on land of Fulton Parker, com menced pumping this week, making a good start, promising to rank among ibe best wells on Church. Well No. 3, on Mike's run, on land nf the Mike's Run Oil Company, is a new strike, which makes a good start. It will not prove less than a twenty barrel well,and may reach forty barrels. Tbe product ol tbe Parker oil field is esti mated at 1.800 barrels per day. On tbe north side of Bear Creek, in But ler county, Mr. M. S. Adams bas sunk a well on the land or Mr. S. Leonard, ami bas what promises to prove p,oud well. It ia said to be yielding ten barrels per day at the present time. i On the south side of Bear Creek, neat the mouth, there sre eight oil wel! rigs up two of which aro drilling and tfcree pump ing.
