E. II. Ronch and T. B. Cocbran, of Lan
caster bad Hiilmiitted a proposition to tlo
lie punting of the Senate at $2,506 and the
House at $5,000, both at $7,800, which was
rejected in both caucuses. They state that
the prenont expenses of pasting and folding
in the House alone is $37,000.
