WS Mair offered the following reso lution, which was unanimously adopted: &soloed, That it is the sentiment of this Con vention Missionary tho active tervices of a Sabbath School issionary in Allegheny county aro indfspeneably necessary, and that re recom mend the election of such an agent by the Executive Committee, pledging ourselves to guarantee his Rapport. Rev. J. W. Barton, the Penasylvinia State Agent for the American Sunday School Union, was present, end delivered a abort address, urging upon the Convention the importance of the. work in which they were engaged, and promising the hearty support of the parent Society. After prayer by Mr. Flow, the Convention adjourned to meat in September next, at the calf of the officers.
