The results will be gathered so far as they can be, and in due time will be given to the public. With the facts already before us, it appears more than probable that no County in the State has been more blessed in its efforts for the salvation of souls, than has Bradford County during the past four months. Within that period several of our largest churches have nearly doubled their membership, while some of the smallest have received more than forty persons at a single communion. It is worthy of special no tice that the ingathering thus far has been in al most exact proportion to the efforts of Ministers and Christians in behalf of the young. During the past few weeks more than one S IS Superinten dent has said to me, "All of my scholars indulge a hope in the Savior." Christian teachers of Brad ford, let us gird ourselves with renewed faith and zeal in the service of our Divine Master. God has j given us abundant assurance that "we shall reap jf we faint not." There are thousands still in our county "who know not God thousands of prec ious souls to be lost forever if uot gathered aud garnered for Christ. Beijin with the yoitmj, should : be our watchword. In every neighborhood, Sab- , batb Schools which have been closed during the winter, should be opened now and kept open if possible, all the year round. Workers in the vine yard, let us heed the divine injunction and "gath er the children." "Teach them diligently" the ; word of God. Keep them constantly supplied j with all the good books they require. The County Missionary will endeavor to furnish the best. He has also prepared a little Manual for Superintendents, giving directions and lessons for tho Subbath School and Concert, which can be had at 15 cts. each. Brethern and friends, teach for JL SUS, and be assured that for all you do in his ii'imc "God shall reward thee openly, R. C. Towanda, April 11. Mr. Hair responded in appropriate and appreciative terms, to this generous and uuexpec- j ted donation.— Ltllaysc'dle L'uion. DROW NED. —On Friday of last week a son of Mr. Charles Crater, of about (J years of age, was ! playing in a boat with another boy near a raft ly_ ing near the Big Eddy, pretty w ell out iuathe Sus quehanna river. The boy was setting in the bow s of the bout, wlrich from some cause swung round and hit the raft, throwing the boy off into tbe swift stream. Ho rose, us his companion says, and caught the boat with one finger, but soon sank and was seen no more. Considerable efforts by drugs and nets have since been made but the body has not been got. At the time the river was rising j anil the stream running strong, and it is feared j that the body has been carried off down the river, j On Tuesday last a cannon was fired two or three times in hopes to raise the body but without any effect. It is hoped that it the body is found down the Susquehanna, that the tinder will have the kindness to notify the afflicted parents who are of course suffering severely not only on account of the death of their son, but because they have not been able to find the bodv.—Oiro/o 'limes.
