1 ynacaaErgHgWHiMo?ja WORKING FOR A RELEASE. Friends of Harry E. Flann Are Hopefal of Seoarlnc rrealdentat rardon Aided by Influential Citizens The Tonne Man la a 3Iodel Prisoner, i Harry E, iTlann Is still in the "Western penitentiary serving ont the five years sentence inflicted on him almost three years ago for robbing the Marine National Bank. As exclusively published in yes terday's Dispatch, a movement is on foot to obtain his release, and everything possible toward that end is being done by both relatives and friends. Mrs. Kilgore, the mother of F lann's wife, with the aid of Attorney Porte, are doing everything in their power to secure Plann's release The former has made numerous visits to "Washington and elsewhere in the interest of her son-in-lcvr. She has seen among others and enrolled in the cause Congressman Dalzell, Mayor Gourley, Chief Brown, Colonel Stone, -dr. Graham, Mr. "Witherow, United States,District Attorney Lyons, C I Magee and a number of promi nent citizens. On the occasion of her last visit to "Washington a meeting had been arranged for her with President Harrison, but Mr. Dalzell thought the time inoppor tune. Since then herself and Mr. Porte have been doing their best to bring the proper amount of influence to bear upon the President to have Harry Flann released. Mrs. Kilgore wonders yet whv the bank officials did not detect their loss before three years. The boy was only 17 years old she says, when he entered the service of the Marine National Bank, and to think that in the course, of two and a half or three years lie could have taken 530,000 without the amount being missed is more than she can understand. He will have served three years in the penitentiary on the first of next October, and this term, with the nine months' com mutation allowed for good behavior, would reduce the sentence to a year and a quarter. To a Dispatch reporter Deputy Warden McKean, of the penitentiary, said yester day that young Flann was one of the best behaved prisoners in the institution. He is at present in the clothing department as sisting the steward. FINE S700 UPRIGHT TIANO 8250. S500 Upright 1'Iano 8210. A first-class upright piano.
