Under the infiuenco of larger leceipts markets have shown weakening tendencies in most lines. Corn and hayiue the strong factors of markets. The supply of hay, though large, has been scaiceiy equal to demand all the week past. Flour is relatively too low when price of wheat is considered. A representative of one of our flouring milNrepoits that at prcsentprice of wheat there is no money in turning it into flour. Itisceitnin that the latter Is now down to hard pan and that luture changes must inevitably be toward a higher level. Export demand for flour, which has been slow all season, has of lute grown more ac tive, showing the faith ot dealers across tho sea that American prices are now at their luncsi. Tnrpcntlne -Markets. "April's volume of trado in drygoods linos has been beyond that of the con esponding month of 1S91," said a representative of ono of our foremost firms. Mailorders aro com ing In more freelv than Is customary this early in tho season. Heavy orders for Sep tember delivery of flannels, blankets, etc., have been placed with Pittsburg Jobbers In the past few days. Onr drygoods merchants aro pushing trado, as far 5vostward as Indiana, and east ward as lar as Cumberland And 'Altoona. Tho enterprise of Pittsburg merchants has of late years resulted in taking from both Philadelphia and Cincinnati, trade which in former times was considered as the property of those cities. The Drygoods Market. New York, April 30. There was nothing ne5v of importance in the demand for dry goods or in the state or tho market. Opera tions wore fair for current and future wants. Cotton flannels, wool flannels, dress goods, underwear and some brown and colored cottons were taken very well lor the day, which comes more and moro under a holiday fueling as the season advances. Early closing was more general to-day. Print cloths are very llrm, but there is no change outside ot that. Agents report the April business as ahead ot last year, as do all jobbers. Tho following month i looked to for more activity in sntnmer specialties in woolens and In general trado for tho fall season. 9MaMAShfits4ft0swwyvEr v w w l"WOBTH A CTTTICSA A JB05T ! I ' i is. Read what Ilarman Henderer, of243 Third st,, Albany, N.Y., says: "During the six vears between 1834 and 1890 I was a constant sufferer from acute rheumatism, for many days at a time being unable to leave my bed, and at all times suffering Intense pain. "I had tried every remedy suggested wltbout ob taining relief, and had about given up hope of re covery, when, a little over a year ago, at the earn est solicitation of a friend, I began taking Palne's celery compound. I confess that I had little faith In any remedy; but I am happy to state that from the time I began taking the compound I obtained relief, and for tho past nine months I have not lost a day from my business, and now consider myself permanently cured." The best proof of its value is the good It has done. Though known foi a comparatively short time, tberc probably is not a city or towa In tbis Stale where Palne's celery compound has not ef fected a cure. It is cause for congratulation that at last tfyere Is a positive and reliable way to cure rheumatism and relieve suffering. Vile cod-liver oil has lost its vileness in Scott's Emul sion and gained a good deal in efficiency. It is broken up into tiny drops which are covered with glycerine, just as quinine in pills is coated with sugar or gelatine. You do not get the taste at all. The hypophosphites of lime and soda add their tonic effect to that of the half-digested cod-liver oil. Let us send you a book on CAREFUL LJCVING free.
