YISITOES FEOM HAKE TO C0L0EAD0 The ad ranee guard of the Knights of the Golden Eagle invaded the city yesterday morning, to complete the final arrangements for the public demonstrations, which the public will witness the next few days. The decorations of the city in honor of the visit ing Knights are assuming an elaborate ap pearance. TJutil 12 o'clock last night at least 3,000 Knights, in reflation uniform, lad arrived in the city, and had taken up quarters at the various hotels. The Supreme Castle headquarters have been established at the Central Hotel, where the local committee is busily engaged look ing after the welfare of the visitors. Kepre tentatives from the East as far ss Maine, and from the West as far as Colorado are in attendance here at the annual conclave. The local committee had to keep hustling last bight; between receiving the visitors at the different depots and assigning them quarters 'they were on the go all the time. Chiet Marshal Heber McDowell has established "hit headquarters at the Seventh Avenue 'Hotel, and all orders in relation to the grand parade will be issued from there. OFFICERS IN THE CITS'. At 8.S0 the Grand Eagle promenade trill be given, in which the whole military portion of the order will take part. PROGRAMME FOE THURSDAY. Thursday morning the visitors will take in the sights of Pittsburg's glass works and iron mills. The committee -nill conduct the visitors to the Edgar Thomson Steel Works at Brad dock, where, no doubt, they will be enter tained by the manner in which steel rails are tuade. At 4 P. St. the visitors will return to tl.e city and take the excursion boat City of Pittsburg for a trip down tho Ohio. The Grand Army Orchestra will be in attendance, and dancing will be indnlged in. All friends of the Knizhts are invited to take in the excur sion. The boat will leave the wharf at 8 P. jr. and drop down the Ohio about 20 miles. It will return about midnight. At the meeting of the Supreme Castle tho change of the constitution will be considered among other things. A delegation from Cau nda will arrive in the city this morning, and will participate in the general festivities. The committee having the entertainment or the Kmchis iu charge will see that nothing is left undone to make their visit to th'e city a memo rable one, which they can look back to with pleasurable remembrance.
