PECK Mrs. Tillle Elmira Peck, well known Nittany Valley citizen died at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. November 2, 1043, at the home of her son, Earl H. Peck, at Nittany, of complications. Mrs, Peck, who had not been well for about a year, was bedfast two weeks. She was a daugh- ter of Henry and Catherine Yearick | and was born in Jacksonville on | February 19, 1866, making her age | at time of death 77 years, 8 months and 13 days. On May 23, 1803 she was united in marriage with Edwin J. Peck who until his death some time ago conducted a general store at Nittany for many years, Surviv- ing is a son, Earl H, Peck, at home, and a sister, Mrs. Ida Holmes of Flemington She was a lifelong member of the Jacksonville Reform- ed church. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home with Rev. John Gulick of Howard officiating. Interment will be made in the Jacksonville ceme- tery MRS. He was of the Baptist church JOSEPH TONER Joseph Toner, native and lifelong resident of Bellefonte, died at 4.25 o'clock vesterday morning, Novem- ber 3, 1043, at the County Home where he had been a patient from time to time for the past several months. He was a son of Patrick and Mary Gill Toner and was born in Bellefonte on January 6, 1887 making his age at time of death 56 vears, 9 months and 9 days. Sur- viving is a brother, Harry, of Belle- fonte.
