Barner, of East Lamb street, while hunting Thursday shot a nice l4-pound wild turkey for his Thanksgiving dinner. He also bag- ged two rabbits. Houtz, Boalsburg farmer, in town this week serving on the December Grand Jury, reports that a Registered Guernsey bull commit- ted suicide on his farm, Monday morning. The animal, aged about one and a half years, was found dead in its stall. It is belleved that in moving about the stall it fell somehow, and rolled over on its back in such a manner that its head was twisted under its body, causing suffocation. ~—Mrs. Belle M. Ward, of East Curtin street, who recently frac- tured an arm in a fall at her home, Bunday went to Mamaroneck, N. Y., to spend the winter months with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs. Charles L. Warren and family.
