Hipple, 31, of hillesburg, was fatally Injured in an slitomoblle accident on the Belle fonte-Milesburg road several hun- dred yards south of the entrance to the old Fair grounds The crash happened at almost the same place where Wynne N. Hill, well known former Bellefonte hotel man, lost his life in a crash on De- cember 21, 1938. Hipple was riding in a car owned | by Kenneth Walker, aged 28, son of Mr. and Mrs, W, Scott Walker of Milesburg. Walker is a patient at the Centre County Hospita] re- ceiving treatment for a fractured shoulder, lacerations of the right arm and brush burns and bruises about the back. McCartney, who is employed in the mine, was burned to the ground about 9 o'clock Friday morning. In- cluded in the loss were all of Mr MeCuriness clothing, bedding, fur. niture and a quantity of food. Mr. McCartney had gone to work 4s usual in the mine in which he! owns a parteinterest.
