The play covered a period of eight weeks and at the end of that time Miss Walkes had the lowest average of the fifty contestanis. It was the first time that a player with a low handicap ever won. Miss Walker's handical was 13 while the runner up had 2 handicap of 44, Miss Walker is a daughier of the late W. Miles Walker, of Bellefonte, and lived al the family home on East Linn Street prior to accepting employ- ment with the DuPont Company several years ago.
