FLEGAL Dr. Irvin Scott Flegal, prominent Karthaus physician, died unexpect- edly Bunday morning, July 28. 1940, at his home in Karthaus from a heart attack suffered while eating breakfast. Dr. Flegal, who had been ailing with a heart condition for several years, died a few minutes before he was to have seen a patient who wal waiting in his office. He was 75 years old at the time of his death. Dr. Flegal who was a prac. ticing physician in Karthaus since going there in 1887, also conducted ia drug store in the community He was well-known throughout Clear- field and Centre county, and in this county he served residents of Pine Glen and the Snow Shoe area. He was a graduate of the University ‘of Pittsburgh in the schools of med- icine and surgery and wis a mem- | ber of the State and Clearfield County Medical Societies.
