[i UNIONVILLE 3 Clean Up Week: —To all persons | The managers of the McElwain of the community we give this an- nouncement that this coming week will be Clean-up week. Each per-| son is required to clean up their Jot of all rubbish, ashes, and any- thing which will make the pre- mises more sanitary and clean look- ing. Let's take advantage of this opportunity and all work together toward making our community na more desirable place in which to live. Some persons have taken the liberty of placing a lot of cans and rubbish on the Tennis Court prop- erty and we would suggest they gel away with it in short order as the club will be working very soon Lo get the court in readiness for play- ing. Tennis Club Meeting :—The Ten- nis Club Meeting which was sch- eduled for last Friday evening was not very well attended but enough present to elect officers Reed Fox was elected President Forrest Bauder, vice president and Ruth Parsons, urer. All persons interested playing tennis this season can Se- cure their membership cards of $1.00. Work will start soon on the grounds to make it ready for playing and we hope a number of young ‘boys who are interested will offer their hands to this work Quite a bit of repair work is since the flood.
