On May 15. 1889 he was united in marriage with Margaret Bartholomew, who sutvives. An only daughter, Mrs John Smith. died in Bellefonte 12 vBars ago. Among the survivors are to sisters’ Mrs. Martin V. Burton, of Philadelphia, d Mrs. Arthar rd, of Odteoln Mills. Mr. Kofman was born in Ru- mania 62 years ago and after his marriage 40 years ago he came to the United States, leaving his bride in Rumania.
