She mentioned specifically the various and generous Harvest Home contributions which have been ro. ceived In recent weeks: the Daugh- ters of the American Revolution; the Order of Eastern Star: the Hos- pital Auxiliary; the V. FP. W ilary; the Junior League of Evangelical church: the Women's Bord: Elks Club and many other organizations, most of which have a regular program of ald to the hos- pital. Mrs. Geary also thanked Mrs John G. Love for the contribution of an oxygen unit; and the nurses and medical staffs of the institu- the tion for their work during the year. | In closing Mrs. Ge ry declared that the hospital administration welcomes constructive criticism on the manner in which the institution is conducted. She invited the public to visit the hospital and to take in it the same interest they would take in their own property. Dr. E. H. Adams, chief of stafl at the institution, declared that great improvements have tiken place on the inside of the hospital in recent months. The entrance has been changed, the rooms Improved and the grounds are in betier condition Dr. Adams added that the crying need at present is the remodeling of the wooden annex. Sebring, of Bellefonte, Mrs, Frederick Warmer reported upon the vear's work of the Wom- ten's Auxiliary, and Mrs, Samuel G Tressler gave the report of the Nurses’ Alumni Association Mrs. Tressler reported that of the ¢ 113 graduates of the Centre County Hospital Nurses’ Training School, 62, or approximitely 50 per cent, are members of the Alumni Association, The average for hospitals in dis- tricts of this size Is only 31 per cent, Mrs, Tressler said.
