Mr, Scott Crain of Port Matilda has purchased the building, as the depot at Jullan, and is having them torn down and rebuilt into dwelling houses at Port Ma- tilda. The citizens of the commu- nity are sad over the loss of their depot as it was a very busy place at one tme and we still hoped it would open up again. We feel we will soon be off the map when we have no depot and trains will cease stopping here Soup Sale and Bake Sale—The members of the Ladies Bible Class of the Methodist church will hold a bake and soup sale in the commu- nity house on Friday, October 20th. This will be an all day sale and dinner and supper can be purchas- ed, as well as soup by the quart any time during the day and fresh bak- ed doughnuts, Come and patronize the ladies.
