Walter Burkholder suffered a burn on his face and eyes recently when fumes from a barrel of kerosene ex- ploded and burned him. The fumes having ignited from a cigarette which he had in his mouth at the time. He Is improving rapidly but oil is compelled to wear dark glasses. The bible study class under the direction of Rev. H. E. Oakwood of the Presbyterian church was held last Monday evening at the home of Miss Eva Rowan. There will be no meeting next Monday evening, Peb- ruary 27th, on account of the ser- vices in the Methodist church, but each Monday evening thereafter it will be held at the home of Miss Rowan.
