Mr. Fromm was crossing the bridge when a car approaching from the opposite direction gkidded across the road, and Fromm pulled to the ex- treme right to avert a collision. His car skidded into the bridge, damag- ing the machine about the right front portion. A car following the Fromm car also pulled to the right and skid- ded into a ditch, but the occupants were uninjured.
