Bower, of Bellefonte, a lifelong friend of the deceased in LEWIS MILLER. s Miller, native of Beliefonte, suddenly at his home in Niagara Falls Saturday morning fea'h ofcurring while he was pre- paring to come to Bellefonte for his annual summer visit with relatives and friends. Mr. Miller was a son of Mr. and Mrs. lewis Miller and was born here about 46 years ago His father was killed about 35 vears ago in the iron foundry at the Farge and the deceased lost a leg in an ac- cident at Niagara Falls some years ago. Mr. Miller loft Bellefonte about 30 years ago and was employed al Niagara Falls as a machinist by the Niagara Alkali Company. Survivors include his wife and a son and daughter: John and Lula Belle, of Niagara Falls; a sister, Daisy, of Danville; and these half-brother and half-sisters: Edward R. Miller and Guy Lyons, both Bellefonte: M1 Malcolm Wetzler, Milesburg: and Mrs, J. N. Calvert, of Williams- port. Funeral services were held at Niagara Falls Tuesday afternoon with Interment in that city. GEORGE W. HARPSTER George W. Harpster, a resident of Tyrone for the past two and one- haif years, died at his home in that place Saturday morning following a year's illness with a complication of diseases. George Washington Harpster was a son of Philip and Maria (Beach) Harpster and was born at Frankstown, Bleir county on August 23, 1865. On _Decaaber 25, 1882, ut Tyrone, he was united in marriage with Nancy Jane Vaughn who died 17 years ago. He is sur- vived Ly these children: Mrs. Grace Bennett.
