THE CENTRE | BENOC RAY, | BELLEFONTE, PENNA, Thuisday, September 26th, 1913. Correspondents’ Depron: Bright, Newsy Letters From the Various 8Sections of the County. REBERSBURG. Last week the good roads associa- tion met in Philadelphia, Among oth- er things discussed was the $60,000,- 000 bond issue for good roads. Of course evervone was in favor of good roads. One of the members made the remark that if the proposition carried, the bond could be paid without the tax payers of the county finding it out, Some years ago our county was bonded for a certain amount with the plea that the farmer tax payer would not find it out. Since that time the taxes have increased from 5 mills to 7 mills, Did the gentle farmer find it out? Squires and Meyer were at Bellefonte Monday on legal business. Circulars are going around boast- ing the $60,000,000 bond issue.
