A four-horse team, belonging to Robert Hettinger, was left standing at the saw mill near Penn Hall on Mon- day, and the “blow-off” of the boller frightened the horses, causing them to run away. After running some dis- tance, the horses broke loose from the wagon. When caught, one of the horses had aevered an artery above the foot of a front leg and bled very profusely, Dr. M. P. Fiedler, of Mill heim, was called and stopped the flow of blood and treated the wound.
