Mr, Douty drove to the mill about five o'clock in the afternoon and started to saw some lath. While feeding the saw a piece of wood flew back ans struck him on the temple, rendering him insensible. He | remained in that state until Thursda morning at 7 o'clock, when he died. It is | supposed death was caused by a fracture { of the skull. He was aged about 40 years and leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Evangelical church, and funeral services were conduted in that church Sunday morning.
