Franklin Swabh, of Pine Grove, and Harry Swabb and wife, were visiting at the Swabb mansion on Sunday. Adam Wolf and Mr. Heckman, of Wolf's Store, were circulating among their many friends of this place, during part of last week. Clyde Boyer, formerly of this place, was seen on our streets on Sunday. James Swabb, our champion hunter, captured a few wild dycks last Saturday. George Gettig accompanied by his mother, were visiting with friends and relatives at Nittany and Mackeyville during a part of last and this week. Mrs. James Searson is again very ill with dropsy. Charles Spicher, of this place, left for Boalsburg last week, where he expects to make his home with his sister, Mrs John McPherson. Port Matilda, Prof. Howard Miles, of our town, held a musical concert at Yarnell, a few nights since, consistiug of instrumental and vocal music.
