The Wiclands Carriage Works, of Boalsburg, have already sold a half dozen new buggies thus far this spring, which speaks weil for our local builders. People appreciate the good work done by this firm, hence the patronage Prof. Hower has a very large school, it numbers between forty and fifty ad. vanced scholars and teachers. This is the largest summer school that has been at Boalsburg for twelve or more years Mr. J. M. Garbrick is the assistant. Prof. Harry Rothrock, of Millheim, formerly of Boalsburg, a candidate for County Superintendent, was around looking after his interests in this section the first part of last week. He has been in every district in the county this spring, and thinks he will prove stronger than his opponents imagine The Boalsburg water plant is not a dream, but a thing of reality. The res. ervoir is completed and all water pipes are laid and many taps have already been put in. We believe nearly every house will soon be plentiously supplied with water. The water too is excellent, cool, nearly like ice-water and sparkling.
