Baer, of Philadelphia, terday performed a skillful operation on Miss Clara Devling, of this city, and removed successfully an ovarian tumor weighing 756 pounds. Miss De viing, the patient, is only 21 vears of age and the tumor had deen growing but four months. Considering the lady's age and the size of the tumor, the Doctor says he never seen anvthing like it, al- though he recently removed a tumor weighing ninety pounds. Dr. Baer was assisted by Doctors Armstrong, Ball and Watson. Miss Devling is doing finely and there is every reason to hope for a speedy recovery.
