A Silly Charge and Pertinent Rejoinder.
Until the Southern Stites, or rather
the people thereof, come to the m <n)y
resolution to pay their honest debts,
there will be bad cohesion in any party
which they can organize tor the control
of their governments. A people must
first of all t>e honest in their dealings,
before they can be useful to themselves.
Harrnlurg Telegraph. (IJameron't Organ.)
Now plcae tell us what you thiuk of
Ma bone and Riddleherger's way of pal
ing honest debts ; aUo what you know
about the support given to the Wgima
R-pudiators by Jtenators Cameron and
Mitchell; and likewise what you think
of the conduct of Arthur and his ad
ministration in putting the power and
patronage of the general government
at the back of Mahone, to force Repu
diation upon the honest people of Vir
ginia, who ask permission to pay their
debts. Here is room for you to 'spread
yourself" about the payment of honest
debts.— Carlute Volunteer.
